From the top of the Grand Canyon to the foot of Niagara Falls, I experienced so many things that I had only read about or seen in pictures.

In the three months that I was there I visited New Jersey, Delaware, Washington D.C, Philadelphia, New York, Niagara, San Francisco, Monterey, San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Of these, I have to say that New York was my favourite
city.

Where else would I have had the chance to watch Shakespeare in the Park, catch a Coldplay concert and
attend a live studio taping of my favourite TV show (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) all for free? I can still remember how surreal it felt standing at the top of Rockefeller Center in New York, gazing out at the city’s skyline under the moonlight.

Another incredible moment was watching the 4th of July fireworks from the top of Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.
